The SAJ-800 jammer is a dual-band mobile phone blocking device that can confuse GSM mobile phones in selected areas. This confusion is achieved by sweeping the receiving bands with a modulated low power RF signal. Cellular telephones are intelligent receiving devices that listen to the signals broadcast continuously by cell site transceivers in order to take a decision on which cell to register. SAJ-800 uses this intelligence to trick the mobile phone and make it believe that it is out of reach of service of a cellular communication network.
Transmitting a jamming signal on the same wave length as used by the mobile tower will confuse all GSM cellular phones located in the area where the jammer’s signal strength is higher than the signal strength of the GSM transmitter.
It should be noted that this blocking device will prevent any type of incoming and outgoing communication (Voice, SMS, WAP) for all GSM mobile phones located in the covered area.
The SAJ-800 has been designed not to interfere with any other communications or electronic equipment, making it safe to use in almost any working environment.
