Units of the SAJ-1000 series are being used by officials,official security organisations and the militaryas a means for defending againsthazardsassociated with thefight against terrorism. Operational areas range from suppression of communication channels from HF via GSM up to SHF paths while fighting organised crime to preventive measures for neutralising remotely-activated explosives associated with assassination attempts.
The signal radiated by an SAJ unit jams remotely controlled receivers, preventing execution of coded command transmissions by third parties. Devices outside the protected area remain unaffected.
Each SAJ is specifically designed to jam communication channels within the possible frequency range including those downlink cellular signals associated with the country of use. The SAJ can simultaneously jam single or multi-band systems and is available in versions having various power outputs. Its robust construction renders it especially suitable for implementation in harsh operational environments.
SAJ-1000 types are versatile, being offered for varying applications having varying output power classes. In addition, the units are also available in dual and multi-band band versions. The radiated power of the SAJ units lies within the range of conventional portable or mobile radios, thus physiological detriment to users is not to be expected. All units are supplied with a clear, userfriendly display indicating battery charge, radiated power and operational mode. Built-in Ni-Cd accumulators (option) are charged with a built-in charger. The SAJ units can also be powered from an external source if continuous operation becomes necessary. Their small dimensions allow these units to used in a discrete manner. A version with attache case including integrated antenna is available for covert operations. The SAJ protected zones can be extended for wider geographical coverage by simply adding more devices on a chain basis.
